How it works
Add your parent's area and details, then pay securely in pounds. Your care coordinator starts straight away.
Your coordinator is in touch the same day, between 8am and 8pm Lagos time. They call your parent, check which verified clinician is available for the address, and confirm the visit time with you, usually within 24 hours. You receive the clinician's name, credentials and visit time. The clinician is paid once the visit is confirmed.
Within 48 hours you receive a reviewed report with a care plan. Then choose Monitor if regular reassurance suits your family.

CloseBy arranges routine home visits. For an emergency, contact local emergency services first. If a clinician sees serious risk during a visit, CloseBy escalates it straight away and points your family to the right emergency care.
Your coordinator contacts you the same day, between 8am and 8pm Lagos time. They call your parent, confirm which verified clinician is available and agree a visit time with you, usually within 24 hours of payment. Payments made after hours are picked up first thing the next morning. You receive the clinician's name, credentials and visit time as soon as they are confirmed.
Every clinician passes identity and liveness verification, a licence check with the MDCN or NMCN, and reference checks before visiting any home. Every visit is confirmed by GPS and a call to your parent, and a senior clinician reviews every report.
A full refund applies if CloseBy is unable to arrange a visit for your parent. If it takes longer than expected, your coordinator keeps you updated and gives you a clear time.
You pay CloseBy in pounds through Stripe. CloseBy pays the clinician once your parent's visit is confirmed complete. Prices stay the same whatever the exchange rate does.
Be home. We call them first to explain who is coming and when, and we handle everything by phone call or WhatsApp.
You receive the authorised summary, care plan and next steps. Your parent decides what is shared, and we agree that with them before the visit.
